XX to XY is a documentary about Jake, who was born female but since his early childhood felt there had been a mistake: he was in fact a boy.

XX to XY is an intimate portrait using (interviews, music, animations) about Jake's courage to stand up against society, the medical system, and his own fears fighting to change his biological sex whatever the consequences, to become the man he has always known himself to be. The film was made where the understanding of trans is very different to our understanding of trans today.
