Cult film director Doris Wishman's famous transploitation movie, notable especially for containing some of the first gender-affirming surgery footage ever put to film.
This is a heavily dramatized film presented as a documentary, and narrated by a dubbed-over Dr. Leo Wollman (an actual doctor who treated trans people in the NYC area), whose real voice was not scientific or authoritative enough for Wishman's tastes.
Viewer discretion is advised, since this film contains dehumanizing pseudoscience, dramatizations of genital mutilation, as well as actual footage from gender affirming surgery.
