A rainy city, a foggy night. Lust lurks in a dark alleyway lit by flickering neon as bodies fuse to the sounds of a haunting sax.

Fou de Bassan

 is a queer-feminist, experimental post porn which aims to challenge the boundaries of post-pornographic representation and find visual codes for queer sensualities that expand the spectrum of human desire and sexuality.

I have experimented with distancing myself from the interaction of human bodies and the fixation on eroticized body in post porn fims. Kinetic sand, butt cheeks, insect robots, and more were conceptualized as actors in their own right, recontextualized during montage within a digital, extended ecosexual pleasure fiction. Influenced by my affliction with complex PTSD and dysphoria as a trans*person, I was interested in representational possibilities of fragmented perceptions of reality that do not pathologize and normatively patch them back to a coherent perception. Combining 2D and 3D image manipulation programs I developed a destabilized visual language and patchy visual counter-fiction of bodies and sex that decisively departs from the dominant norm of representation, challenges the notion of the body as an autonomous, self-contained entity and instead supports a new-materialist, post-humanist notion of queer desire. Beyond the default settings of verticality and earthly rules of gravity, I misappropriated image production tools to visualize the porousness of bodily boundaries and fragmented perceptions of Self and Other in interplay with active gestures of sexiness. Multiple and frequently changing camera perspectives, which stand in devoted relationship to the actors, are intended to dissolve the static location of the viewer and aim to unsettle and shift habitual distances.

Fragmented Delicacies

What happens when two Transdykes get sick of non-transsexual's uninformed representation of their sexualities and their lives? They grab their 8 millimeter home video camera, their last 200 bucks, and come up with an uncompromising in-your-face flick about their shitty relationships with gay men and their unabashed attraction to other transsexual women.

We would like to note that one of the filmmakers, Jeanne B was used as a pseudonym name. Her real name is Mirha-Soleil Ross and has made other film works from the past.  

Gender Troublemakers

 Acker, a major exhibition at the Institute of Contemporary Arts in London, director Amy Gwatkin presents a portrait of the literary luminary via Bhanu Kapil, Linda Stupart, and Carl Gent—some of the show’s contributing artists, writers and musicians. Gwatkin also invited artists Katy Jalili, Noel Anderson, and Deniz Unal to feature in this film and channel the spirit of the creative iconoclast who died in 1997 at the age of 50 after battling cancer.

This short film was made in the late 90s by a trans man named Jay Allen Sennett who was dealing with "confusion and pain" related to his transition and his body. In 

, Jay discusses deciding to transition at the age of 32, and the complex feelings he has about being a man with deep links to a female past. He says, "I ask myself, how does a thirty five year-old man who played as a tomboy, bled like a girl, reared as a lady, fucked like a stone butch lesbian, and dresses like a dandy, become a man? How do I act for this part? Which parts of me should I keep? Throw away?" He goes on to describe having sex with a woman, referring to his prosthetic penises as "tools of the patriarchy", recalling how he cried because he would never be able to ejaculate.

The Flaming Creatures is an Avant Grade Art film by artist Jack Smith. The film was made during the the era of the New York Underground Film movement that brought us art film artist like Andy Warhol and the Kuchar Brothers both which inspired John Waters.
The weird plotless film features male and female nudity and the police often raided showing in the sixties. The film evokes a non-narrative orgy in its parade of flaccid penises, bouncing breasts, and at various intervals depictions of both violent assault and celebratory pleasure.
Smith shot the movie on old army surplus film that was about 15 years old.
