Shot in striking black and white, the boldness of the facts of these women's lives and the earthquaking frankness they share complicate this enterprise, colliding the everyday with cutting social commentary and the excavation of long-dormant truths. In May 2005, over 200 sex workers and activists from around the world gathered in Montréal to celebrate the global sex workers' rights movement and the 10th anniversary of Stella.

Entitled Forum XXX, the 4 day event delivered on its promise for an exhilarating and politically inspiring extravaganza. The Forum provided sex workers with an opportunity to get together and raise the power that's needed to fight for sex workers' rights and the decriminalization of prostitution on a global scale.

Live eXXXpressions: Sex Workers Stand Up

 traverses topics of financial autonomy, Black Womanhood, desirability hierarchies, and artistic legacy as related to sex work.
